Interested in the Namco Museum beta? Well, it’s just been released onto the Japanese PSN Store, available to download for everyone. The beta consists of Pacman, Dig-Dug, Galaga and Xevious, and rewards are given for playing through them, which are then transferred into Home the next time you log in. Rewards include t-shirts and ornaments for your Home Space, but best of all you can even win an arcade cabinet to position wherever you want, although this does appear to be limited to Japanese Home accounts. The actual Museum beta, however, is playable on any PSN account.
Enjoy.

Wow – sounds good – will have to download later on…

Is this likely to come over to the UK store in future?

2010 last I heard…
Not really, I just get an underlying feeling that SCEE is slipping with non-first party release dates again

Aww, I got an invite to the beta for this through my JP account awhile ago.. It unlocked a few items of clothing and accesories (including a Galaga T-shirt and an Arcade machine for your personal space! Although, the arcade didnt work, cos I wasnt in JP, but still, it looked good..). It was cool to be walking around Home wearing clothes that no one else had. Guess my individuality will be over soon..

I sure hope they add something like free home stuff in the next Wipeout HD DLC update… I want an FX350 league icon on my home wall!

The Namco stuff IS available to your normal account. I downloded the museum with my Jp account, played on my account (I’m Dutch) and won some stuff (a very cool DIG-DUG™ hat, a Pac Man™ tshirt and some other items) and when I started up the Home beta it started downloading all those items, which I could use instantly.
just do it

Thanks Namco, way to make me remember how much I suck at Pacman.

Brilliant. My wife has taken over my PS3 to play Pac Man.
Christ only knows when I’ll get it back now. Thanks Namco.

I’ve played through the games and got 2 out of the 4 presents on most of the games. Do I have to get 4 out of 4 to get the home stuff?
