A while ago we brought you news on the forthcoming new game mode for EA’s FIFA ‘09, following on from that we showed a trailer which helped clear up questions surrounding the new game mode.
And now we can bring you the price – A mere £7.99, or 800MS points for those lucky people with a choice of machines, I think quite reasonable for what sounds like a very expansive add-on, which almost could be a game in its own right.
On March 19th it will be possible to download a free 5 game trial for this new mode so you can sample it, before deciding whether to make the full purchase or not, a Trophy patch is also due at the same time.

I am going to spend a bleeding fortune on the PSN when I can get it to work again.
There is a 5 game trial with this isn’t there? I’m just not totally sure that I’ll enjoy it…

I will be purchasing this (after trying the demo, just in case of course), and am pleased with the price
EA are fast becoming a very consumer valued company, what with a spate of good games and an array of excellent DC
Keep it up EA

I agree Brendan!
EA have pulled their finger out recently and it shows. Whereas I didn’t own an EA game on my PS2, I now own several across PS3 and 360. They’ve taken note that license updates aren’t the be all and end all, but the financial lifeblood that can be poured into new IP like Mirrors Edge.

Will definitely be a try before I buy. Though from what I’ve seen of it so far looks like a really cool bit of DLC.
