Vintage, apparently. We prefer our vintage stuff to be drinkable, but still pretty good.

Yes, we loved the Megadrive Collection, it was a welcome trip down memory lane and the convenience of loads of old Sega games on one disk was a treat indeed.  But if you’re tight as a duck’s butt and won’t splash the paltry £25 on the Blu-ray, it now appears that at least some of the individual games will be heading to the PSN (and Xbox 360 Live Arcade) any day soon.

The only titles ‘confirmed’ are Altered Beast and Comix Zone, both via Microsoft.com, but there’s mention of other titles like Phantasy Star II, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles and Shinobi, and what’s this? GunStar Heroes?  Oh, so that’s why it’s not on the disk.  Sega, give me the back of your hand, now.  No word on pricing or even a release date, but we’ll let you know when we get anything.
