  1. Graphics are a bit poor, but looks like a solid game.

  2. i think i’ll be giving it a go. agreed the graphics look a tad poor, but far better than previous.

  3. Wow, it looks pretty cool really. Graphics are ok, but not awesome, they have never been… he last Harry Potter game was absolutely crap to be honest.

  4. Good scoop guys well done.

  5. That just got me so excited for the film again.

  6. Could be worth a play methinks. It says at the end there is a free demo available, PC I assume, does that mean a PS3 demo is likely at some point?

  7. That actually looks alright, although the lip sync was awful. Looks worth a playthrough anyway, I like harry potter but I heard the film is different from the book so the game prob will be as well.

  8. Is it voiced by the actors from the film? Dumbledore dousn’t sound like Michael Gambon? Snape sounds different too. I can’t remember the last game but that only had like Ron and Hermione didn’t it? And Harry of course.

    • I see what you mean about Dumbledore and Snape, but I think most of the cast are there: Harry, Ron, Hermione and Malfoy are definitely there and I remember from the last game McGonagal was there as were Fred, George and Luna. My guess is most are there.

  9. I will be getting this, loved the order of the phoenix on the ps2.

    • same but dose eny one know is its got online/offline co-op or mutilplayer?

      • There is online multiplayer, but I think it’s just for duelling. I’m not 100% sure though.

  10. Since I finished reading all the books, I’ve honestly lost interest in the franchise completely. I loved them when I was reading them but now it’s all over and I know what happens I can’t be bothered any more.

  11. Seen a trailer in the cinema for the next Harry Potter film and can’t wait till it comes out. The game is looking pretty good, might need to look into it some more.

    • The trailer for the game seems to run alongside the trailer for the film well with a lot of scenes and dialog being in both. Seems to be close to the film I’m just not impressed with the faces (don’t look right) and some of the voices are a bit off.

Could be interesting, I wouldn’t buy it, could make it to my rental list at a push.

  12. The graphics are a little damp, but apart from that it looks like it could be a decent game, might just have to consider getting this game.

  13. The fact that the film has been put back for half a year would suggest that the usual “crappy film/game license” stumbling block of a tight timeframe to coincide with the film release date could possibly be overcome this time.

I haven’t played any of the others but I assume they’re all arse.

  14. The only HP game I ever liked was the first!
As a megafan of the novels I find that the games can never live up to my imagination.

  15. gameplay looks very good but the graphics look poor but not as poor as [PROTOTYPE]’s

hopefully theres a demo coming out on PSN soon cus theres already one out on PC :)

    • There was a demo of the last Potter game on the PS3, so reasonable to expect one of this.
