Assault Heroes Coming to PSN Next Year

Released way back in 2006 on XBL, Konami have confirmed that 2D top-down shooter Assault Heroes will launch on the PSN next year. Appearing to be a direct port of the 360 version, expect lots of explosions and shooting as you penetrate a secret underground lab in search of a classified weapons program. In what we can only view as a strange paradox, despite being the last surviving member of an elite special forces unit, the game also offers both an offline and online co-op mode. So, maybe the second last surviving member then.
The frantic shooter also offers up destroyable battlegrounds ready and willing to feel the might of your “devastating flak cannons, flamethrowers and grenades.”
