Dear TSA member peespee63 has hooked us up with the list for the just released PSN game Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond. This is a prequel to Eat Lead that came early last year, which many of you may remember for its terrible gameplay but hilarious parodies. While it is a bit on the steep side in terms of price, it looks quite similar to games like Contra. Feel free to give the trial a go if you may be interested. Anyways, laugh away below:

Never played the first game, may try this one but will depend on how steep the steep side is.

I actually enjoyed the first Matt Hazard. The gameplay was mediocre at best but not broken. It is worth a purchase just for the parody of all things video games. Plus its only like $20 now.

The first one is awful, but it is playable and has some decent humour. This one is like Metal Slug or Contra. It’s simple, effective and funny, though it relies on word play a little bit. £9.99 might be a bit steep for it right enough, though there is a trial.

tried it, and didn’t like it, maybe i got spoiled by the slick controls in shadow complex but this game seemed to be rather awkward to play.

I want this but I am gonna wait for it to join the ‘Special Offers’ section as I found Eat Lead fantastically original in it’s style and very, very fun, despite the glitches and generally basic gameplay.
