Official XBox Magazine have run an article about what we should expect in Treyarch’s upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops. The main news is that Black Ops will be “grubbier” than Modern Warfare 2. Treyarch are also putting just as much emphasis on co-op as they are on single-player and multiplayer, quoting a “three games in one” mantra.
The best quote is that the difference between Black Ops and World At War is like the difference between Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4. Read into that what you will. Finally, zombies were mentioned, though the topic was quickly passed over.
In related news, ESPN are also claiming a world premier reveal during the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday, so expect more Black Ops footage to hit the web shortly. In the meantime, here’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it teaser for the new trailer. (Yes, a trailer for a trailer. Deal with it.)
