Final Spider-man Dimension Revealed
Those holding out for Jurassic Spider-man, prepare to be disappointed.

The last Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions’ dimesnsion has been revealed. The fourth and final universe ole web-head will have to contend with in his search for the Tablet of Order and Chaos is Ultimate.
Spidey will don the infamous black symbiote suit in a cel-shaded version of his world. Fans of the Ultimate flavour of Marvel’s properties will know that this version of Spider-man is basically a juiced up, overpowered badass, shooting web-spikes and other doohickeys out of pretty much everywhere in his quest to keep everyone in his neighbourhood friendly. And in a coma by the sounds of it.
We’re sure our resident comic chroniclers below will elucidate the rest of us amateurs about what is actually in store when Shattered Dimensions hits in September.

spidey with the symbiote suit isn’t really an alternate dimension thing though, unless maybe this is a spider-man that kept the suit unlike the main one.
will the different spider-men interact or will you just play each one in their own world?
because having them meet up could be interesting.

This is Ultimate Spider-Man with a symbiote suit, so fairly different dimension. He’s a lot younger for a start.

ah, i kind of skimmed over the text and just looked at the picture.
i quite like the ultimate spider-man, it was a shame when they stopped the uk reprints as i was really enjoying them.
if i recall the ultimate symbiote wasn’t actually an alien but something peter’s father invented to help cure cancer that turned out having some unusual and unwanted properties.
wasn’t it venom that killed gwen in the ultimate universe?
anyway, i still think it would be cool if all the different version of spider-man in the game meet at some point.

It’s Ultimate Spider-Man, which is a different universe within the Marvelverse. The Ultimate line of comics was basically a reboot set in modern day to try and draw in new fnas who weren’t familiar with character origins. There are some other fairly significant differences to main stream continuity, but that’s the main one.

It is different coz its from the ultimate universe of comics, so relatively recent, the symbiote suit you may be thinking of would be the orginal suit from earth 616 which is known as our earth, the ultimate line always took a different stance on the story, but DAMN i was hoping for spider-carnage like in the spider wars saga considering there were already rumours gravitating around pre order bonus of armored spidey (again from clone wars where stark industries was actually parker industries. Then again i would have loved to see jackals final clone – spidercide, he was definitely a badass

Isn’t Ultimate Spiderman basically the same as Amazing Spiderman though, slight storyline differences aside? A bit disappointed with this final reveal, the black suit has been done to death in games, I was hoping for something new. Noir is the one I am most looking forward to. Fingers crossed for a decent spidey game finally!

Ultimate spider-man was brilliant until….. It became the super friends this volume. The villains you may know are completely renewed in the ultimate line, carnage being a clone (kinda) of Peter if I remember right that became the gwen Stacey it absorbed

Loved the cheese of Spidey 1 on PS2 and Spidey 2 was GTA with Web Slinging Skills….

i doubt it, but they could have had spider-ham as one of the alternate dimension versions.

Okay… seriously. I hope this game works out. Because the last great spiderman game was the Ultimate Spiderman game in my opinion. I just hope that this game will become something great.
