Capcom has released some new footage for Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 and so far it seems that retro-heads are in for a treat. The trailer shows off part of a battle with the ‘MegaCopter’, but seeing as how it’s getting its ass kicked I’m not too sure what’s so mega about it. I’d take him any day, one hand tied behind my back.

I never expected to see another Bionic Commando title after the poor performance of the last release. I guess the retro iterations are a lot cheaper for Capcom to produce.

i really enjoyed bionic commando rearmed so i have high hopes for this (The challenge rooms! Oh the challenge rooms)

Rearmed sold well for a PSN title (around 350 000, I think) Bionic Commando sold around 28 000, which is crap. It’s a shame, considering the game had some of the best animation I’ve ever seen.

I didn’t even know it was released until I got a Zavvi monday madness deal a few weeks after release prompting me to buy it for about 20 quid. Seems odd that given the amount of marketing I saw for Rearmed, they didn’t match that with the new release. Maybe they were expecting the release of Rearmed to do the advertising for them?
