It’s always a worrying time when a new IP with stacks of potential hits the market, especially as most have underperformed this year. So it’s with a massive smile that we bring you the news that the DS version of Ni No Kuni has an initial order amount in Japan of 600,000 copies. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino had the following to say:
“We consider Ni no Kuni to be Level-5’s next big title to follow Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven.”
We are monumentally jealous of our Japanese friends right now, and can’t wait until both the DS and PS3 versions hit our shores next year.
