It makes more sense than you could imagine: the Nintendo 3DS will, as from tomorrow (and for a limited period) offer up ten E3 trailers of upcoming 3DS games, in 3D.

The downloads will be free, and split over two packs.  The first pack will include Mario Kart, Resident Evil: Revelations, Star Fox 64 DS, Super Mario and Ocarina of Time 3D.

The second lot, available from next week, will include Animal Crossing, Kid Icarus, Luigi’s Mansion, Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater and Paper Mario.

A brilliant idea.

  1. I see Nintendo is on top of things once again.

  2. These were all available (and still are) on the US store from E3. Weird that it would take to long and be broken down into two updates for Europe. There is also a trailer for Green Lantern 3D as well.

For what it’s worth, they look great and show actuall gameplay so that should help some people who are on the fence about any of the mentioned games.

  3. The trailers were great but it has taken Nintendo far too long to put them up on the store considering the US have had them for ages. Then again, this is Nintendo’s typical attitude to the UK really isn’t it

  4. Why are they not just doing like the psn store? Putting on videos on the store instead of doing theas packs?

    • As far as I’m aware they are on the 3DS store, just in bundle form. At least, thats how I read it :)

    • They are in the eShop (at least in America).

  5. Nintendo certainly took their time with these didn’t they. :/

Better late than never I suppose. I’ve been looking forward to seeing these trailers in 3D for a while now.

Didn’t think anyone could top SCEE’s laziness. D:
