PlayStation Plus Subbers Gets More “Treats”

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to bag themselves a special armour for Section 8 Prejudice when it’s out – the game will automatically know you’re a Plus subber and you’ll be able to get the goodie free of charge.

In addition, the first thousand Plus members to get Prejudice from the Store will also get its predecessor, Section 8, completely free to keep forever.

To get the voucher for the free game, you’ll need to be signed up to PlayStation’s marketing emails, which you can do via Account Management on your PS3.

In addition, in August Plussers can also expect to see Comix Zone, a half price Alien Zombie Mega Death and a rather vague “PSN Game” in addition to the usual raft of Minis, PS One Classics and discounts.

  1. too much hassle for the section 8 stuff :P i don’t play a lot of the minis or ps1 classics so another psn game would be good

  2. I’m more interested to know when the EU is going to get the Borderlands bundle that the US is currently privy to.

    • I managed to pick up a new copy Borderlands GOTY Edition with all DLC for £12.98 in GAME…and I had £7.50 of points! Perhaps the offer is still on, if you’re in the UK…

    • yay, just what I need. Another tower defence game. Also, this was supposed to have been the PS+ title given back in February but was pulled at the last minute, probably for the first reason I mentioned.

  4. If we got a year sub on day 1 of PS+, anyone know when it finishes? Am I right in thinking this month was the the final month?

    • There’s the three months free add to the date PSN+ started.

    • Go into Account Management >> Services >> PlayStation Plus. It will tell you your exact expiry date.

  8. I have never played Section 8, but come August more free goodies – manage to clear some space on my HDD on Monday =D

  9. Not too interested in Section 8, neither of the two games got me to even watch the trailer to the end.
    Still, there’s obviously some people who play them, or they wouldn’t have made a sequel.
