A new webpage on the Japanese PS Vita site has appeared, labelled “PlayMovies“, and with it the video above. The website aims to promote key upcoming games for the system, and kicks off with Phantasy Star Online 2 and the great looking Soul Sacrifice.
There’s not a huge amount in there – a couple of TV commercials round off the list – but it looks like Sony Japan are keen to create some kind of portal for the system. The movies are all in YouTube format so it’s worth bookmarking anyway, even if the games have a distinct Japanese flavour.
Interesting little typo on there, though.

Weird thing that gets me is that Video’s live area has tons of stuff on with JP and US PSN. With the EU there is just sod all, except PS video store access.
Yummy red and blue colours there. Incidentally the new coloured PS3s are gorgeous too.

did that Phantasy Star online 2 video say there was a ninja class?
awesome. ^_^
you gotta love the results of google translate.
“Soul Sacrifice” super magic innovation to sacrifice even a fellow sometimes free basic play. Experience the real action that could be why PS Vita!

wait?? say what, a ninja class?? when I started playing it only had Warrior, Gunner and a Mage like class. ^^
if only it had a English release soon enough, its really fun.

Damnit! Give me PSO2 already! I want an EU release… ;_;

I’ve never seen the words “PS Vita” that many times in a video before.

Since getting Wipeout 2048 on PS+ I’m making a real effort to use my Vita more. Anything that promotes new Vita games is a good thing.

Anybody know what the dates are about at the end of the video (at part where Soul Sacrifice Premium Edition is)??
Broonba
Doh, I forgot to add the dates………28-2-2013 & 7-3-2013
KeRaSh
I think 28-2-2013 was the launch of the JP Vita version of PSO2.
