Trade In Detectives Offer A Unique Price Comparison Service

Don't be beaten on trade ins.

Useful news for gamers who offset the price of new purchases by trading in their old games: there is now a price comparison website that will do all the hard work for you. Simply visit the Trade In Detectives website, enter the barcode or product name and the site will fetch you the best trade in value and cash prices from across the leading UK retailers.

This is a free to use service, but you will need to sign up (which is also free) to unlock all retailers, allowing you to enter their competition to win a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One in the process.

Although this is clearly a handy service, it’s worth remembering that when shopping around for the best deal, you also need to take into account the retail price of the product you’re trading against – getting more money off a game that cost double the price to start with will still leave you out of pocket.

Sounds like a great idea, providing you have easy access to some of the traders involved. To be fair though no matter who you trade with the price difference between outlets is tiddleywinks. Unless I have several games for trading then the difference in prices won’t pay my car fuel to drive somewhere exotic in the hood!

No, just looking at a local map and it had a crease on the word neighberhood.

I’ve just registered. I’ll give them a try tonight and see what it’s like, I’m always trading in my games.
