A Destiny: The Taken King PlayStation 4 Will Be Releasing In September

Sony has announced a new themed PlayStation 4 that will be releasing on September 15th, and this one takes inspiration from Destiny’s The Taken King expansion. It is a white PS4 with a 500GB hard drive, and on it is a map of the cosmos in silver, and a gold crest adorns the console too. It all looks very snazzy, and I personally think it is the best looking themed console so far.

The console will come with Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition, a source of controversy, which includes the base game, The Dark Below and House Of Wolves DLC, as well as The Taken King expansion. There will also be an upgrade to the Digital Collector’s Edition, which includes three new emotes, three exotic class items, three armour shaders, and early access weapons pack.

If you don’t fancy the themed console then there will be a Taken King console bundle which has the black 500GB PS4 included instead.

  1. I’ll stick with my plain white one, don’t know if I’d want a game branded all over my console like this or the Batman one.

  2. Not sure I want the tragedy that is Destiny pasted over a console. It’d end up reminding me of extortion every time I looked at it. It looks nice enough I guess, and I’m all for more themed game consoles to liven the designs up a bit.

  3. £400 on GAME, and it’s it’s only the 500gb version. Disgraceful

    • Wow that’s terrible. Day light robbery prices @ game!

  4. I want the MGS V console.
