A side mission in Watch Dogs 2 lets you hack in to Ubisoft themselves, as the game company has a building in the game. In it you will find employees discussing the Osiris leak, artwork for Assassin’s Creed in a WW2 setting, the Assassin’s Creed movie poster and a trailer for game that seems to be brand new.
It could be just a huge jape, made specifically for Watch Dogs 2, or could it be a brand new game?
Frankly I’m a bit more worried about how much of a mess the Ubisoft Universe is. Watch Dogs 1 made reference to the Templars, thus setting in the Assassin’s Creed universe, but Watch Dogs 2 is now treating Assassin’s Creed as a game. The Division also features the offices of Ubisoft, so could be in the same universe as Watch Dogs 2.

If you’re going to have advertising in games why not for your own games. Personally I don’t take much notice of stuff like that in games, it’s in one ear and out the other so to speak.
