Immersive VR Education Announces Apollo 11 VR Will Be Out For PSVR In January

Relive history.

Immersive VR Education is a company that is looking to utilise the VR space for experiences that teach people about various subjects through the use of the technology. One of their experiences is centred around one of the most important events in the history of mankind, the first moon landing. Apollo 11 VR will allow you to experience the journey through the viewpoint of Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, and Michael Collins. There is historical footage and archive included with VR recreations of different points of the mission.

The experience will allow you to land the lunar lander, fly the command module, explore the Moon’s surface, and set up the experiments. Once all that is done there will be a recreation of reentry into Earth’s atmosphere. The Apollo 11 VR experience is set to be priced at €10/$10 on PSVR, the same price point for Oculus Rift and Vive users.

From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. Sweet I’ll give that a go

  2. Saw footage of someone playing this on the Rift and it looked like a pretty cool experience.

  3. It does sound like it’ll be good but I’ll wait until the review before deciding as the other one about the the film Mars sounded good but the experience was crap.
