Though we didn’t get to capture our own footage at last week’s Dirt 4 reveal, Codemasters did send through a few minutes of B-roll footage of their own that we’ve now put together in a little video preview, covering some of the key points from our hands on preview.

I didn’t realise that ‘your state’s was used throughout career mode. No more learning every inch of the route, which isn’t a bad thing.
This game is steadily climbing my must have list.

No, no. The career mode tracks are “curated” was what I was told, so a career will always have the same stages, conditions, post to the same leaderboards etc. etc. It’s just that they’re made from the same building blocks as are available to Your Stage and aren’t being made by designers in the more traditional fashion.
Your Stage means that not being able to learn a route still applies to the vast majority of the game. Head online, and it’s a brand new stage, the weekly challenge will be something you’ve never seen before, etc. etc.
