Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Fallen Ghosts Expansion Available From May 30th

Ubisoft has confirmed that Ghost Recon Wildlands’ second expansion Fallen Ghosts will release on May 30th for season pass holders, and then for everyone else a week later on June 6th. The events of Fallen Ghosts will take place after the main campaign, so it may be best to finish that before tackling the expansion.

Fallen Ghosts will have 15 missions which will centre around extracting American agents and civilians from Bolivia, while trying to evade capture by a new faction called Los Extranjeros. This faction has the best gear available and its soldiers fall into four types which are detailed below with descriptions from the press release.

  • Armoured: Equipped with heavy bulletproof plates, they are especially threatening in close combat.
  • Elite Sniper: Geared up with an advanced movement detector, these Elite Snipers are able to spot far away targets, and never miss their shot.
  • Jammer: With a jamming antenna directly in their backpack, they are able to neutralise drones and interfere with all electronic equipment.
  • Covert Ops: Equipped with a new prototype cloaking device, that makes them almost invisible, and a powerful crossbow, they give a new meaning to the word Ghost.

According to the details given players will start with a new character at level 30 for this campaign, and the level cap itself will rise to 35. There will also be new weapons including a bow that fires exploding arrows. Furthermore the advanced and expert difficulties will be tweaked to make things harder.

From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. “Like the previous expansion Narco Road it will be free for non season pass holders from that day. ”

    ?? Narco Road is £11.99?

    • Updated. My mistake. Checked the store and it was showing as free for me. Remembered I have the season pass.

  2. Not sure I’ll get this. I’ve been fairly enjoying the game but been playing it solo and can clearly see that it’ll be more fun with friends. Unfortunately I’m new to the PC gaming (I got it free with my new graphics card) so no pals yet!

    • I’m playing solo too. Think the main game with be more than enough tbh. Already put in about 15 hours and not even half way through.

      • Yeah i don’t seem to be mking a lot of progress for the amount I’ve played. Two of the minor people killed, think that’s it.

      • Soloist here as well, I got 56 hours in and still nowhere near finishing it. Not sure why I would need any more missions, theres more than enough here…
