Klei have a habit of announcing new games during the PC Gaming conference at E3 and this year didn’t disappoint. This year they announced Griftlands – a 2D RPG-looking game that has bags of character already.
They’ve kept a lot back with this reveal, but it looks like you take on a party of mercenaries in turn-based combat, with the goal to achieve missions set by quest-givers in order to grab rewards to recruit new allies.
So far the trailer is the only source for this news, with no platforms or release dates confirmed, but knowing Klei it’ll have an abnormal premise and may be a vastly different game from what everyone is expecting. Expect to hear more about it soon.
