Sources Report Destiny 2’s First DLC Will Feature Osiris

Kotaku have spoken to multiple sources who have said that the first DLC pack for Destiny 2, which is scheduled to launch in December, will be called The Curse of Osiris. The story will find you rescuing Osiris, who has been spoken about but never seen in the original Destiny, from the mechanical menace known as the Vex.

It is reported that the pack will also include a new patrol zone on Mercury and a new social space on the Lighthouse, an area only seen by players who completed the Trials of Osiris in the first game.

In other Destiny 2 news, the weird microphone styled rocket launcher that had been previously spotted in preview videos now has a name, the Wardif Coil, and there appears to be an emote which will create a holographic table in front of your Guardian which you can then flip.

Destiny 2 is out on September 6 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and October 24 for PC.

  1. Excellent, really looking forward to this. They need to start expanding on those pieces of lore from the first game. Osiris is a good start, tell us more about the nine and xur please.
