Spyro Reignited Trilogy Leaked By Amazon As Screenshots Appear Online

After the success of Crash N.Sane Trilogy last year, a Spyro remake has been on the lips of many a fan of classic PS1 platformers. There’s already been a number of leaks, but now we have what is by far the biggest, as Amazon Mexico listed the game for release on 21st September this year, for both PS4 and Xbox One, with a bunch of rather good looking screenshots popping up online.

The Amazon listing says, “100+ levels, remastered with breathtaking graphical updates and improved gameplay controls,” indicating that Toys for Bob have had much more license to tweak the gameplay than Vicarious Visions had for the Crash trilogy last year.

There’s also this pretty fab comparison shot. See if you can spot the difference between PS4/XBO and PS1. Hint: PS1 is on the right.

It’s a shame that the cover art looks so downright awful:

We’d expect an official confirmation pretty damn soon.

  1. Holy MFS! This looks amazing! Gotta love those Mexican Amazon workers.

Cover is awful though I agree. Too much Green ;)

I hope they keep all the original music by Stewart Copeland.

    • Not sure they really had too much to do with the port, to be fair.

  2. Never played the originals, but always felt i really missed out, so im really looking forward to this!
