EA’s latest signing isn’t some fancy car manufacturer or overpaid footballer, it’s Steven Spielberg, who is working with the company on three new games.
There’s a Wii puzzle game (codenamed PQRS) and a more secret game that no-one seems to know about, but what’s interesting is LMNO (another codename) which is a ‘contemporary action adventure’ according to Neil Young, general manager of EA’s Los Angeles studio.
In LMNO, which is for both PS3 and the 360, the player teams up with a female character who evolves over time depending on how she interacts with other characters in the game. Spielberg told Newsweek: “The challenge is, can the game have an emotional impact on players while they are actively manipulating the world?”
