Gamestar appear to have contacted Sony Italy regarding the price cuts we revealed yesterday and claim Sony will officially announce the details this Friday. This almost goes against Eurogamer’s claims that there won’t be a press conference next week except that they said next week, and Friday is this week.
04/10/07 Update: this site appears to have an ‘exclusive’, despite being about 2 days late, on the announcement. They say it’ll definitely happen tomorrow, and reckon the 60GB will be reduced to £369, but more likely retail at £349. They also think the 40GB will be £299, and not the £275 we’ve been told. We’ll see, tomorrow.
