SEGA Europe have revealed that Alpha Protocol will be released in the UK and Europe this Summer. The espionage game, a fiercely original take on the role playing game genre, will launch in Europe on 28th May 2010 for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
Alpha Protocol will see players tasked with uncovering the perpetrators behind a tragic missile attack on a passenger jetliner, diving into a story rich with characters and locations to discover an international arms-dealing conspiracy. Depending on how you play the game, your actions and choices will direct the outcome as you ultimately decide who to befriend, trust or kill.
“Alpha Protocol offers a new take on the RPG genre giving players the chance to immerse themselves in the world of modern day espionage,” said Gary Knight, European Marketing Director of SEGA Europe. “Being the first ever RPG in this setting, Obsidian have written a truly immersive storyline with a cast of characters everyone will remember.”
The game has suffered quite a few delays, so to see a solid release date at last is certainly welcome news.
