Today we get our first peak at the EA’s upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup which is hitting stores ahead of this summer’s World Cup finals in South Africa. Featuring all 199 teams which took part in the qualifying stages as they do battle through the qualifying groups to be one of the 32 teams in the finals and from there compete through the group and knockout stages to attempt win the tournament.
EA’s special tournament titles like the European Championships or the World Cup’s are usually a hotbed of experimentation as the team looks to introduce new gameplay enhancements which don’t feature in the FIFA’s annual releases.
It is a completely made up fact that even the game’s designers couldn’t get Scotland to qualify for the Finals, you can see if you can do better when it lands on store shelves in April, and in the mean time lets just hope Rooney can stay fit.
