Rumours doing the rounds this morning suggest that Microsoft are in talks to bring a TV Channel to Xbox LIVE.
According to Bloomberg sources, the company is talking to former News Corp and Fox employee Peter Chernin over bringing a TV channel to the console.
It has been said that discussions so far revolve around bringing a full channel of programming to the 360, which would include new shows and re-runs, which would all be aimed at a “young, male target audience”.
Unfortunately it has been mentioned that in order to pay for this, Microsoft would have to raise the price of an Xbox Live Gold subscription by a few dollars/pounds a month.
Whether this would be U.S specific is currently unknown, but with the former Consolevania creator today joining the Inside Xbox team, perhaps things are already in motion?
