According to a “very reliable source” (who has never been wrong in the past) of tech site Gear Live, Microsoft will announce at E3 that TV streaming service Hulu is coming to the Xbox 360.
Hulu is a phenomenal success over in the States, with millions of users watching TV shows on demand through the streaming service. The tech site states:
“Similar to how Netflix is integreated into the Xbox 360 dashboard, Hulu would be there as well, and would require a subscription fee. We have no idea how Microsoft will charge for it, but our assumption is that you’ll pay for a block of access time (a month? a quarter?) by using Microsoft Points—but again, that part is just a guess.”
We should note that, as any visitor outside of the US to Hulu’s site will attest, the service is only available to US based viewers. However, there are plans to broaden the service to other countries in the near future.
