Interesting choices, some of them, but it’s good to see the evergreen Angry Birds doing so well as it starts its migration to other platforms, and from what I’ve seen of Split/Second it absolutely deserves the Visual Arts badge. Side and Axis’ work on audio and visual outsourcing respectively looks to have paid off, too.
Congratulations to all the winners.

And the Unreal Engine still winning awards!
It’s hard to disagree with any of those to be honest, good job Develop!

Agreed – Glad it won something as the game is pure awesomeness. Can’t help but grin & whoop with joy when i take out all other competitors with (insert random object of destruction here)!

“Angry Birds doing so well as it starts its migration to other platforms” – pun intended?

Visual Arts? What does this mean?
Because what I’ve seen of Split/Second doesnt make it an award winner for graphics or visuals, just looks like a better Burnout Paradise. I would’ve thought something like Uncharted 2 or GOW would win it, but that could be because I dont know what they actually award Visual Arts to.

Know what you mean
If it wasn’t for Quantic Dreams & Heavy Rain picking up an award each I’d say it was British only… in which case S/S probably does have the best visuals
They are top notch though, although not quite up to Uncharted 2/GoW standards
