The link takes you to the YouTube video we’ve posted again below. Unsurprisingly, for the most part it looks very similar to Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer, but with a few tweaks.
The little remote controlled car-bomb killstreak reward seems nice and rage-inducing, and the suggestion of new melee weapons is a nice touch, but the trailer’s biggest tease comes at the end.
Killcam playback and editing, anyone?

It loosk prety basic to me – same as the other COD titkes. An awful lot of straight lines and box shaped objects.

Doughnuts. Beachballs. The Gherkin office block. The Millenium Dome. The mouse I am using. My Coke bottle. My Printer. Everything is CURVY, not straight. Look at the still placeholder image for the video. There’s a flag an some sort of curvy thing on the roof on the right. It just looks *wrong*. Take the fork lift. Apart from the wheels every single part of it is a box. Now look at this, a simlar vehicle – http://maxlift.seedmedia.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/25ton-diesel-forklift1.jpg – yes it is boxy but the corners – wheel arches, the cabin roof – are rounded.
Oh and before anyone gets cocky, that curned stop in the mini window on the right isnt curved, it just looks it in the mini window – play the video and you can see its about 20 long straight steps put together.

I know that I am in the minority here but always enjoy the single player stiff in cod games and cannot stand online multiplayer – not sure why. Will prob still get this one though.

Me too, I love the single player stuff because it’s fun and fast-paced and often unrelenting.
I hate the multiplayer because it has no rhythm or pacing and the momentum is so often broken. It quickly becomes a spawn-die-spawn-die nightmare for anyone who hasn’t got the time or inclination to spend hours grinding.
Each to their own though, I can buy it, finish it within three days and then forget all about CoD for a year :)

I suppose that nobody noticed a few neat things in this video like the non-camouflaged gun which says “tmkS” happens to be the players clan tag.
Also, if you skip to around :35, on the right side of the screen, you can see a player do a “dolphin dive”.
It seems like they tried to covertly show off many new features of the game in this minute-and-a-half long video.
I must say I like the graphics in the icons that they used. From the killstreak icons and the grenade count in the corner to the faction icon in the other corner.
