Whoo, it’s a busy week in the world of video games. On Tuesday, Microsoft managed a global launch of their poster-child for sci-fi shooters, Halo: Reach. Now Sony are launching a whole new range of hardware, Move, in Europe today (it sadly won’t be in UK retail stores until Friday but if you ordered online it might arrive today!).
So this week’s PlayStation Store update is a crazy one, without retailers to work around Sony have managed to get a bucketload of Move-supporting software out for you to spend your hard earned cash on (or demo).
In addition to all the Move madness there are demos for Pro Evolution Soccer (for those without PS+) and FIFA 11 which are sure to reignite the old arguments about which is the better football/soccer game. It’s FIFA, by the way.

Fantastic update for those picking up Move.
I’ll be trying all the standard demos and will try the Move demos when I get one. A new Deus Ex vid too!
Flight Control HD is certainly worth a go at £3.99p and no excuses to anyone anymore regarding Peggle and Monkey Island. They were worth every penny before discount!
Some DLC might interest me regarding NHL 2010, I’ll certainly look into that once I’ve had some time with the game.
Good update but I wonder when Castle Crashers and TerRover will reach us? They’re both something to look forward too anyway.

I’m with you on not being interested in Move. It seems to me to be mainly for simple Wii-like games.
Also don’t get me started on having to buy two pieces of kit to have full functionality – I have a Playstation Eye already and the prices of the two Move controllers when bought separate from the full bundle annoys me considerably…
Basically, to me, it seems like hype to get you to spend lots of money – just like 3D…

hate to put a dampener on what is a pretty awesome update, but i can see the eyepet and bowling move updates there, does this mean that MAG’s update will be part of paid DLC, or am I just jumping the gun?

Pretty good update, FIFA 11 and PES 11 demo for me, I predict FIFA11 demo is gonna blow me away, where as the PES11 demo is gonna be like playing FIFA 09

I’m a FIFA fanboy and will be picking it up on day1
But I got hooked on the PES demo over the weekend, was blown away by it
Its a completely different game to FIFA and took some getting used to but seemed 100 times more real to me – I’ve never liked a single PES game in the past but as a game of footie, FIFA11 is going to have its work cut out to compete (not sales-wise of course as it will pee all over PES)
I think I may be converted to the delights of PES (although its not going to stop me picking up FIFA)
