Ferrari The Race Experience Heading To PSN

System 3 has announced an exclusive downloadable Ferrari racer for the PSN.  Titled ‘Ferrari The Race Experience’, the game will be releasing on September 29th for £11.99 (or £9.99 if you own 2008 racer ‘Ferrari Challenge’ and apply for a redemption code).  The trailer below doesn’t really give much away, but we know the game will feature the (slightly combustible) 458 Italia, as well as the 599XX – and more cars are promised.  The game also features three handling engine settings – assisted, arcade and simulation.

Now normally when a game is announced so close to its release we get slightly concerned – but System 3 has a habit of producing solid racing games, so we expect to be pleasantly surprised.

  1. I want GT trailers to look like this. Grittier, leaves on the track, just more real feeling.

    • Precisely. I hate to say it, but graphically, this little PSN game, unheard of until now, actually looks better than Gran Turismo. Of course graphical quality during game play is what it all boils down to. If anyone reading this has a copy of GT4 lying around, watch the opening movie to it, you’ll be surprised at how good the graphics of the opening title are.
