Those looking forward to the release of ‘Ferrari The Race Experience’ will be disappointed to hear that it won’t be hitting the European PSN today as planned. System 3 had the following to say:
“European Ferrari fans will have to wait a few more days to get their racing kicks as System 3’s brand new racing game, Ferrari The Race Experience, has experienced a small delay.
The game will now arrive on Wednesday the 6th of October. This was due to a slight technical issue with putting in place a very special redemption code offer.
Owners of Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli (PS3) and Ferrari Challenge Deluxe (PS3) are entitled to a special purchase price as a reward for their loyalty. Further details will be made available on www.system3.com in the near future.
We would like to apologise for this small delay.”

Not that i’d have been interested in this game anyway, but this just seems like a bit of a daft reason to delay the game. Couldn’t they have released it anyway, then worked on the redemption code? Sounds like a load of rubbish to me.

I may consider picking this up- yet to see any gameplay. Talking of delays Blacklight Tango Down still has no PS3 release date (360 version was released on 7th of July), there problems must be a hell of a lot more severe than System 3’s. Last I heard it had failed certification (and not for the 1st time)
Back on subject does anybody know where I can see some gameplay footage?

their last racers were bug riddled and often crippled by their fixes.. anyone remember the ferarri challenge patch that made the game look like it was running in 480p? i think there’s a very good reason there is no gameplay footage about… and gt5 is out soon ffs, why bother system 3?

It’s a racing game for people who need to something to play before Gran Turismo releases. It’ll be like 15 bucks or something, so it might actually sell well
