Capcom’s iDevice Weekend Sale

Those of us who have owned one of Apple’s iDevices for a while, will know the weekends are often a good time to grab a bargain. This weekend CAPCOM are stepping up to the plate to offer a selection of their games for only 59p.

This is a great tactic which publishers use to give their titles a jump up the sales charts, this inevitably leads to some unwitting late-comers paying full price for it the following week, so if anything takes your fancy don’t be unwitting and grab it whilst it’s hot, or more precisely whilst it’s only 59p.

  • Resident Evil 4 (Previously £3.99)
  • 1942: First Strike (Previously £3.99)
  • Mega Man II (Previously £1.79)
  • Dark Void Zero (Previously £2.99)

However, if you live in the good old US of A you can also grab these CAPCOM goodies at the same discount, or 99¢ if you prefer.

  • Cash Cab (previously $4.99)
  • Cash Cab: Las Vegas (previously $1.99)
  • Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? 2010 (previously $1.99)
  • Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 2010 (previously $1.99)

  1. forgive me for what maybe a stupid question. I have an ipod, bog standard 80gb classic ipod. can i buy these games?

    • Nope, you need an ipod touch with access to the store!

    • You can buy them but wont be able to play them, these only work on the iOS devices, ie ipod touch and the iPhone.

    • cheers gents

  2. Resident Evil is ok, fans of the series should like it. Not worth £3.99 but for 59p you should give it a punt!

    • I was about to but noticed the on-screen controls. I just can’t do it. No purchase. I think I’d need a PSP so I have real buttons/controls.

  3. Shouldn’t this be on Apptilt?

    • apptilt only deals with app reviews, although they maybe should include a blog where they can talk about upcoming releases, price watch etc. But then that is a big ask, TSA must keep them more than busy enough.

      • Saying that I’ve just noticed the iDevice blog on the left hand side, wow you guys are quick.

    • AppTilt only does reviews – TSA is about gaming of any variety. So news like this fits on TSA but clashes with AppTilt.

  4. Good shout. Thanks. Just picked up Resi 4 and Mega Man. Also saw a Ghosts n Goblins game on there on sale for 59p FYI.

  5. It’s amazing that even at 59p after viewing these games I’m still not tempted. The very fact so many games are available for idevices makes me super fussy in picking games… This selection just don’t quite fit with imaging for me sadly.

    • No matter what I buy or how many games I’ve got (which is loads) if I have 5mins spare I always turn to the old faithful of Peggle, Angry Birds, Paper Toss, Flight Control or PvZ – perfectly suited to mobile gaming, pick up and put down – a half hour session, full of concentration on a sofa not needed

  6. Everything just has to start with an “i” doesn’t it, with Apple?
They should rebrand themselves to “iApple!”
