Zombies Confirmed For Black Ops

As if there were any doubt, Activision have confirmed that there will indeed be a Zombie mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Head of Treyarch Mark Lamia had this to say in the announcement:

Zombies have been such a hit with our community that we were committed to bringing brand new zombie experiences to Call of Duty: Black Ops.

As if “brand new zombie experiences” wasn’t enough of a tease, Lamia also hints at a “nice surprise for fans”.

Maybe the surprise he’s referring to could be the four updated World at War maps to be included with the Hardened and Prestige editions of the game. Or maybe it’s the vegetarian zombies everyone’s been demanding.

No? Just me then.

    • hopefully itz dat it’ll link up 2 da story.
      plus i really want larger FREE maps!
      only one map aint enough!
      and meeting players in CoD 5 with da same maps will be epic!
      perhaps it haz bakwards compatible dlc! XD

      • I’m hoping for a cusom zombie map maker!
        That way there can be loads of awesome maps without the need to pay extra or wait for DLC to be released.

        “Hopefully, It’s that it’ll link up to the story. Plus, I really want larger, FREE, maps, one map isn’t enough. Also, to be able to meet other people on Cod5 would be epic!

  2. I never really got into the zombie mode on world at war. I hated the cheating game so much after getting my platinum i had to trade it in immediately. Cheating fucking bastard game. Stupid veteran quarterback throw, olympic rifle shooting accurate nazi Bastards. Wankers. Aarrgghh!

    • Lol! I never go too involved in the Zombie thing either, but you summed it up there =)
      Where’s TSA policeman andytorr though? He seems to be correcting people when they use foul language..lol

    • Its the only game mode I play on there.. After hearing about the grenade spamming, I never bothered going for the plat and just play zombies with a friend.. Best part of the game, imo.

  5. i never was a big CoD fan, but i might consider picking up CoD:WaW just for zombie mode, i didn’t like Left 4 Dead or the latest RE entry, but i don’t mind shooting zombies with a shotty :D if i happen to like WaW i will probably end up picking up Black-Ops

    • Black ops is looking massively different to w@w though, maybe the same genre but 2 very different games. I hope to god they don’t have trophies for completing on veteran mode again, that will totally put me off buying it. Lot’s of online and coop trophies Please.
