His comparison is completely valid. He’s not comparing design or functionality, he’s comparing the fact that people are told they’re good and go out and buy them, even though there are better products of the same type on the market.

Whether the iPhone 4 is the best smart phone is a highly subjective situation but it’s an excellent phone regardless. It also seems a bit harsh to have a cheap shot at it when we’re looking to something that is close to unwarranted (in any way, shape or form) as an accessory. This boat is utterly laughable and Kinect seems to be gaining zero traction in the respect stakes.

The difference Tony, is that even if people were to buy an iPhone 4 based on ‘hype’, they are still getting a truly excellent piece of hardware which is incredibly useful. To claim otherwise is naive at best, ignorant at worst.
Kinect on the other hand, over promises and under delivers.
