F.E.A.R 3’s release date has been locked down, and it will be appearing on shelves worldwide on March 22nd 2011. This puts it in the firing line of Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 – two of the biggest hitters in the FPS genre. Oh dear. F3AR’s only really come on my radar (despite loving the first two) since I saw the pretty amazing footage in FirstPlay yesterday. I’m definitely looking forward to this one now, it looks quantum leaps ahead of the other two graphically and gameplay-wise I’m sure it’ll be as good as always.
