One of the highlights of the previous EDF game was the sheer volume of weapons one could choose from before heading in to battle the insect menace. Developer Vicious Cycle Software has not only surpassed that total in EDF: Insect Armageddon, but doubled it with a staggering 300+ unique weapons.
The game will also support local split screen co-op, Six-Player Online Survival Mode Multiplayer Battle, and enemies that are over 100m tall rampaging around Completely Destructible Environments.

300+… that’s sick. xD

Not as many as the bazzillion in Boderlands!
Qurx
sounds great! will it also feature online coop? (i’ll probebly only play the local coop)
300 unique weapons… sounds like a lot! but… how unique are they?
i mean borderlands has a lot more “unique” weapons.
btw… is there any information abotu the release date of the game?
Dan Lee
Spring 2011 for release. As to ‘unique’, I’m not sure. From memory the previous games 150 weapons were all pretty different.

Also, why is my gas and electricity supplier’s name on this game?
moshi
That confused me as well when I read that

L4D2 has around 20 weapons and that feels plenty. Then again, they’re all very different. However, taking the future technology thing into account I feel like 50 or so would surely suffice. Then again, much like Kaz and GT5, it’s always a numbers game. This many cars, this many guns, this many tracks, etc.
