NFS: Hot Pursuit ‘Seacrest County’ Trailer

Surely NFS: HP has to be up there as one of the most hotly anticipated titles of the year.  Each new trailer brings with it a fresh wave of excitement, as cars worth more than my house trade paint.  This latest trailer, titled ‘Seacrest County’, gives us an introduction to a lovely little place that is home to tree lined streets, snow topped peaks and stunning vistas.  Oh, and it seems the law enforcement of Seacrest have given a big middle finger to the recession, and purchased enough exotic metal to make Jay Leno jealous.

  1. I really want to like this game but I couldn’t get along with the demo at all so until a day arrives where I see it going very cheap, It’ll just have to wait.

Still looks lovely as ever though.

    • What didn’t you like about the demo? The handling took a little getting used to, but overall i very much enjoyed it.

      • So other people thought that the handling wasn’t that good either i do hope you can do a little bit of tuning to these cars to make them handle better but other wise it was a fun game at least in the demo form

      • I found the handling to be very easy to get used to, maybe even the easiest in any racing game (apart from mario kart 64), perhaps it’s because I found it to be much like the one in Burnout Takedown/Revenge, which I love.

      • The handling was what put me off to be honest.
I’ve played it quite a lot and for one thing, I’m not improving and for another, I’m just lacking the feeling of fun with it.
The Autolog feature is an excellent idea though.
With such an abundance of other games I like the look of and a distinct lack of money and time, this’ll just have to wait a while.

      • I think the handling was a bit too slugish for my taste like the car didn’t turn as quickly as it should have but maybe it’s just the demo or it’s something you get used to if you just play it allot i liked the handling that Burnout Paradise has

      • graphics a step down, too serious handling for a game like NFS which is supposed to be fun. Had high expectations because it was criterion.

    • As has been mentioned in a hands on in a previous article, the cars in the demo are the worst three in the game…which is odd, but don’t be put off by the handling of those cars as compared to what will be in the full game.

  2. Off topic, Dan you are crazy, what are you doing up at 7:48 to post this! Your a machine!
