As previously reported, SEGA is planning on releasing a ‘Dreamcast Collection’ on the PS3 and Xbox 360. This comes via their executive vice president of sales and marketing, Alan Pritchard, who had the following to say when asked about SEGA’s plans:
“The Dreamcast fans are very devoted. You see on eBay people are still buying the games and system. We actually have a Dreamcast collection coming out soon. We are looking to bring some of the old Dreamcast games to market digitally and packaged. The titles are still to be announced. The Ultimate Genesis Collection did huge numbers on PS3 and 360, so it’s an important part of our business. We’ve already been releasing some Dreamcast games digitally; Crazy Taxi [for one].”
The Dreamcast back catalogue is chocked full of goodness, so we can’t wait to see what’s on the way. First one to say ‘Shenmue’ will be put on the naughty step.

Hmmmm I will have to play crazy taxi when I get home on the xbox 360 and think of the goood times :). Headhunter is a must, so are all the above tho… Hmmmmmmm

But all you people asking for Powerstone or Soul Calibur? Great games, but really, SEGA is bringing out the collection; don’t expect any CAPCOM or NAMCO games on it.
It’s like having SSFII on the SEGA Genesis collection.
