In the latest issue of Famitsu, GT5 daddy Kazunori Yamauchi has said that at least some of the game’s standard cars will be upgraded to premium via updates. This will bring a more detailed car model, as well as that all important interior view.
This is fantastic news as I, along with many others, felt a bit disappointed that some of the top end cars had actually been classed as standard.

I really hope they do some kind of vote. It would be a good fair way to decide as well as great publicity for them, they could push a little message to the news feed in the game.
It doesn’t have to be all cars, even if they just did a shortlist we could vote on, it would make people happy.

im really hoping they will add some tracks as well, i thnk we would of heard by now if they where thinking about it. im not to bothered by this premium/standard car thing as i always use the bumper cam while playing, but i guess more better looking cars wont hurt.

Please can we have a Fiat Punto 1.2 mk2 premium in light blue with broken passenger side door handle snapped off due to last weeks cold weather in Liverpool. Delorean premium is a must too I agree.

I currently only have 900k credits and every time I check the used dealership I half expect to see it pop up laughing at my bank balance before disappearing, never to be seen again!
