We’re hearing, via MCV, that Nintendo are inviting people to Amsterdam early next year. Our invitation must have got lost in the post but luckily we’re so excited about the 3DS that we’ll forgive Nintendo and move on to the bit where we cross our fingers and hope really hard for good news.
The 3DS was announced way back at the start of the year and shown off at E3 but in spite of a Japanese release date (February 26th) and price (which equates to roughly £200/€300) there hasn’t been a firm European date just yet.
We’re hoping that there will be a good price point, firm release date within a week or two of the Japanese date and some of the games on display. Ah, now we wish even more that we’d got the invite!
It’s all kicking off on the 19th of January in Amsterdam so expect to hear more then.
