Although Epic’s Gears of War 3 has been delayed until later into 2011, that hasn’t stopped studio head Cliff Bleszinksi getting people all hot and bothered about the prospect of another game from the developers. He’s told his fans, via the latest issue of American gaming mag EGM, to keep their “eyes peeled at GDC.”
The new project, details of which are scarce, was originally Bleszinki’s brainchild but is now under the watchful eye of Prototype’s lead designer Eric Holmes.
“I believe game designers are the Stan Lees and Jack Kirbys of our day,” says Bleszinki, “and we’re creating these universes that leave a huge impact on people. Gamers votes with their dollars and they often like established IP, but those IPs came from somewhere, right?”
GDC starts at the end of February.

Hopefully it’s multiplatform. Although I think Microsoft will pay to make it exclusive. Their upcoming exclusive lineup is shockingly poor.

Are we really going to have to “keep our eyes peeled” or will there be a big fuck-off anouncement complete with trailer, presentation and can-can dancers? Hmmmm…
