New ‘No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise’ Screens

It may be a daft thing to say, but sometimes you just have to take a step back and marvel at the graphical leap from the Wii to the PS3.  A case in point would be the latest screens from ‘No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise’.  The original on the Wii was nice enough, but this Move enabled PS3 port has taken it to the next level.  Worthy of being our 22nd most anticipated title of this year?  We hope so – I mean who wouldn’t want to wield a Beam Katana?

  1. I had No More Heroes on the Wii ages ago and it was alright, i hope this version has loads of gore like the Wii version should of had but didnt

    • Does it really need gore?

      • I wouldn’t want Mortal Kombat or Silent Hill type gore, but I do think a game without a little bit of blood when you shoot or stab someone is damn annoying!

      • The original version of the game had gore but when it came to europe it got taken out i believe, this is what i mean, of course it doesnt need gore but if the game has it originally then it should continue to have it

      • This video shows some bits of what the game was like with the gore before they took it out…..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kp9fD9ws8Ck

  2. Still havent seen any game that has convinced me to get Move, this isnt one either. Like moakesice above, the wii version was alright, cant really see the gameplay being much different.

    • Tumble and Echochrome 2 are superb, but both are way to highly priced on the store.

  3. When I can buy? (again)

    • “Slated for release in 2011” – that’s the line so far mate.

  4. Heard of this game when it was Wii exclusive and though i was interested, i just could not have any desire to pick it up.

now it seems to have not only a more impressive graphical enchanmeant, but also a interesting addition of Move control.

im much more interested in playing it now.

  5. The PS3 graphics gie this game a marginally less cell shaded effect than it had on the wii, it’s piqued my interest as I’m not a fan of the cell shaded style.

    • Its great if done properly…but its usually anime/cartoon based video games

      • I think Prince of Persia 2008 did it quite well, it does look nice, I just prefer realism.
