SCEI have announced a new Silver Satin PS3 set for release in Japan on March 10th. She’s a fetching lady, with a sleek, space-age finish and the ability to ensnare (non-sparkly) vampires.
Two models are on offer – a 160GB beauty retailing at ¥29,980 (about $366/€267/£227) and its bulkier 320GB counterpart, which will cost you (if you’re Japanese) ¥34,980 (about $427/€311/£265). Everything else remains the same – it’s just a different colour – but you like colours, right?
No word if this silver surfer will ever migrate overseas.

Bought myself the Silver PS2 for as a wedding prezzie! Did look abit dull and tacky afetr a while. That silver PS3 doesn’t look as shinny as the PS2 version. But I still don’t like it, I thik the matt black slims are the best of the bunch, my phatt just gets so grubby all the time!
