Silver Satin PS3 Hits Japan Next Month

SCEI have announced a new Silver Satin PS3 set for release in Japan on March 10th. She’s a fetching lady, with a sleek, space-age finish and the ability to ensnare (non-sparkly) vampires.

Two models are on offer – a 160GB beauty retailing at ¥29,980 (about $366/€267/£227) and its bulkier 320GB counterpart, which will cost you (if you’re Japanese) ¥34,980 (about $427/€311/£265). Everything else remains the same – it’s just a different colour – but you like colours, right?

No word if this silver surfer will ever migrate overseas.

  1. I like the sub heading Lee!

I have the Silver Dual Shock 3 already and it’s great for when we bring controllers over to FIFA parties.

  2. Bought myself the Silver PS2 for as a wedding prezzie! Did look abit dull and tacky afetr a while. That silver PS3 doesn’t look as shinny as the PS2 version. But I still don’t like it, I thik the matt black slims are the best of the bunch, my phatt just gets so grubby all the time!

  3. Looks quite nice actually, but no point in getting one when I just got the Slim jim before Christmas
