February is Minis month and as you can see below the massive sale takes up half of the update. There are some real gems on offer so be sure to pick them up if you’ve missed them first time around. Of course, it’s not just about the Minis as the Killzone 3 multiplayer beta is now open to everybody from 11am [GMT] Thursday. Elsewhere are the trial and unlocks for Beat Sketcher and Tetris, along with the Fight Night Champion demo and the usual range of add-on content and other media.

  1. Monopoly Mini & Fight Night Demo for me. Not going to bother with killzone 3 demo as will have the full game in under a month!! :D

  3. nice update this week. The beta for starters coming tomorrow. Plus the mini’s are a bargain I reckon.

    • I wonder if enough are sold at 99p it will give the developers the idea that the price point works & could lead to great revenues… Of course they’ve got to sell 3.5 times as many.

      • I haven’t bought many minis as I haven’t the time to play through them. If they cost 99p I would probably buy more because if I’m not able to spend the time playing it I’ve only wasted a quid.

  4. Oh, hadn’t spotted Heroes of Sparta in the mix before. I might have to give that a shot for 99p. The rest of them I have through PS+, and rarely play them. Perhaps I’ll nab Fieldrunners so it’s properly mine, but probably not.

  5. Am I the only one grabbing Bionic Commando Rearmed 2?
    The first game was a real gem.

    • I’v only just bought the first game (it was part of the January sale) which I’m enjoying. Might grab the new one if it’s on sale one week though :)

    Hmmm Fight Night Champion…hmmm, not sure if they have screwed the controls up, or made it better…all I know is, I can’t knock Ali out with Tyson, and I can’t knock Tyson out with Ali…and can’t seem to win a round.

    looks like it will take some time to get used to yet another control scheme…wish they would just stick with one idea.

    as for Killzone 3…can’t wait…anyone know if this has Move support?

  7. Is it just me or aren’t Beatsketcher and Tetris quite old? Why have they been included in this update? They don’t seem to have had a price drop or anything. Are they just trying to make this poor store update look like it contains more than it actually does?

    • Demos are always good. Tetris is not that old and it’s good that they are relasing a demo for it.

      • I see, that explains why Tetris is included in the update! But it’s still a bit of a cheek counting it as new, and I’m sure I played a demo for beatsketcher when I first got my Move.

  9. Looks like ill be back on the KZ3 beta once I have defeated the Necromorphs. I saw a HUUUUUUGE BILLBOARD in Leeds today, not far from MIKES CARPETS, for Dead Space 2. It looked amazing! Some Huge Playstation Moves on that ad as well – MA – HOO – SIVE.

  10. Not that impressed with 2 really old LBP costumes goin up there again, which I’m sure were free in the first place. I want NEW costumes!
