Square Enix Europe has announced a special Twisted Edition of The 3rd Birthday which features some pretty awesome exclusive items. Due to release sometime in spring 2011, the Twisted Edition will include a 48 page hardback book featuring artwork and concept illustrations, two deluxe sized Aya Brea art prints, and a costume code for Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy that allows Lightning to dress like Aya.
Square Enix also revealed the voices behind two of the characters in the game. Providing the voice work for Aya will be Yvonne Strahovski, the actress from the TV series Chuck and the voice (and face) of Miranda Lawson in Mass Effect 2. Jensen Ackles from Supernatural will take the role of Kyle Madigan, a returning character from Parasite Eve II.
Unfortunately, Square Enix Europe did not provide a release date for The 3rd Birthday. In North America, the game is set to release on March 29th for $29.99.

Didnt realise that this was out in Japan already. I havent played the previous parasite eve games so dont know what to expect.
Looks like a tidy little collectors set. Ive yet to buy the new kingdom hearts or peacewalker for the psp. now the PSP2 has been announced, I may not bother until then

You’ll buy it and be grateful! Which reminds me, have you finished Enslaved yet!?

I loved Parasite Eve. It’s one of my favorite PSone games. I thought II was pretty meh. Square took a more Resident Evil approach to the gameplay and I didn’t like it that much. 3rd Birthday doesn’t seem too similar to either of them really. I’m still excited though since it looks like a lot of fun.
And shower scene. >_>

Looks like if they ever were to make a movie they have their Aya already set for action!

This is a download for me, the collector’s edition does look great, but I have an eye on the PSP2.
I reckon this might be the last PSP game I buy, unless I see a good offer on the store. Which is always a possibility.

I loved both Parasite Eve and Parasite Eve 2 (the second one the most) I’m not sure if I like the change of platform.. I mean to handheld.. and not sure about the genre. But I’ll probably buy this.
