New PlayStation Plus Mid-Month Content

It’s time for the mid-month PS Plus content update, and there is some lovely stuff in store for subscribers. Fans of  ModNation Racers will be happy, as there will be some new avatars for you to download and keep.  Blacklight: Tango Down will also have 25% lopped off its price.

SEGA fans will be in seventh heaven as Plus subscribers will be getting early access to a Yakuza 4 demo. In the coming months you will also be getting Sonic 2, Streets of Rage 2, Golden Axe Digital, Comix Zone and Altered Beast – all with trophy support.

As a special present, the mini ‘Flying Hamster’ is now available for free and to keep. This means it will still be yours, even if you choose not to continue your PS Plus membership.

  4. Looking forward to giving Yakuza 4 a spin, but even more so with Golden Axe.

I was a little out-of-pocket at first, but now I am genuinely appreciating what PS+ offers.

  5. I love Golden Axe i use to get Prefect scores on it in the arcade and Snes

  6. SEGA!! Any news when these are out!

Put the free Sonic theme on last night – Sega goodness!

  7. James G has confirmed that the Sega games will be free when they come :D

  8. Will the Sega trophies be the same as on the Megadrive collection, or are they separate lists.

    • Well I doubt they’ll rerelease SoR II with just one Trophy to earn.

I hope they do I bit more than just copy/paste it of the Megadrive Collection (preferably a graphics update, online coop,…).

  9. sounds great, and i will be resubscribing in july or june (whenever my year runs out) loving plus
