Nintendo Lock Down US 3DS Line-up

Nintendo has officially released the complete line-up for the 3DS when it hits US shelves next month.  The list is close enough to the UK one at the moment, the obvious big hitters being PilotWings Resort and Super Street Fighter IV, but there’s the likes of Super Monkey Ball, Ridge Racer and Pro Evo to keep you going.

Missing?  Dead or Alive: Dimensions, oddly.

  • PilotWings Resort
  • Steel Diver
  • Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition
  • Nintendogs + Cats, available in three editions: Poodle, Golden Retriever and Bulldog.
  • Ridge Racer 3D
  • Samurai Warriors: Chronicles
  • The Sims 3
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D
  • Super Monkey Ball 3D
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars
  • Rayman 3D
  • Asphalt 3D
  • Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
  • Bust-a-Move Universe
  • Madden NFL 11
  • Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D

Ocarina of Time, Kid Ikarus, Mario Kart and Starfox all bring up the remainder of the year.  A decent line-up, for sure, even if the games we really want won’t be on the console for a good few months yet.

  1. Why wouldn’t you have a Mario game for release?

    • That seems like a current trend as neither the Gamecube or DS had launch Mario titles.

      • The GameCube had Luigis Mansion, which I thought was better than nothing after all.

      • Wait… The DS had Mario 64 DS as a launch title…

      • Luigi’s Mansion was an absolute quality game. Definitely one of my faves on the console. I now have a huge craving to rake out my Gamecube and play through a few classic titles

    • This time, it isn’t going to be just the software which shifts the 3DS; Ninty are hoping that the tech and gallery of fairly high profile games will draw in the initial consumers.

      • Fair point Jim.

@KeRaSh – Oops, my bad. I forgot about Super Mario 64.

  2. Not really interested in any of the launch titles which is the main reason why I am not buying a 3DS at launch. I will look a couple of months after release to see how the games, and reviews, fair.

  3. Looking forward to a few of these. I will be keeping an eye on Madden, Ghost Recon, and PilotWings. Samurai Warriors is a definite on my list.

  4. With those titles it’s PSP2 for me.

  5. The line-up is pretty good, but the amount of content in some of these games, considering the £30-£40 price concerns me (im looking at you, Steel Diver and Pilotwings). I’ll be getting SSFIV: 3D Edition and nintendogs + cats, but I may get Samurai Warriors or Pilotwings too :3

  6. The one thing I really enjoyed about the 3DS was the 3D camera which I thought worked really well. The AR was good too but the only game I got to play was Face Raiders. In my eyes the 3DS was good but nothing to write home about. I was expecting amazing 3D that jumped out at you but all I got was a couple of layered screens which look like those “3D” photos you buy in markets on holiday.

  7. Cost so much :\
Hopefully the NGP software won’t cost that much.

  8. Was down for day one on this but with the NGP looming and deciding to go for a PSP Phone, gonna wait until MGS drops then im in :-)
