Konami just sent out a press release regarding the anticipated launch of Hard Corps: Uprising on the PlayStation Network. The date and price they announced is March 15 for $9.99. No word was given concerning a European release but it’s probably safe to assume that it won’t be far behind.
Hard Corps: Uprising is actually the latest in the Contra series and has been available on Xbox Live Arcade for the better part of a month. In case you missed it, you can check out Delriach’s detailed review, here.

Does anyone remember Probotector on the NES? I had it when I was tiny, I think it was just Contra with a different shell.

I know there was Super Probotector on the SNES (which I recommend), so i guess Probotector is the name for NES PAL UK version of Contra, the American & JP version had people as the playable characters, the UK version had armoured wearing playable characters.
